ITPI Board member Christina Grote leads an adaptation of an LET exercise created by George Leonard. It offers you the opportunity to develop your subtle sensing of the outer world. You can become more aware of and connected with your natural surroundings, and you may come to experience a feeling of reciprocity, and even love, as you feel this deep connection. You may find that touching doesn't have to be limited to physical contact. Through the practice you may experience yourself as being connected with everything in the world and even the universe.
This sense of connection is where real cooperation starts. It's hard to work against something you feel bound to. As the meditation moves outward, from a person who needs support to the whole planet and all its creatures, it points to cooperation as something wider than agreement or teamwork. It becomes a way of relating, rooted in the recognition that we are already part of one another.
