Transformative gatherings for enriching our lives

January 27, May 13, August 12 & November 11
Online Event via Zoom

In 2026, Seekers and Sages will explore the unseen in its many expressions, including the subtle energies of the body, the living intelligence of plants and the more-than-human world, and the forces of grace often described as angels, guides, or supportive presences. While these forces are rarely visible, their influence can be felt, sensed, and experienced.

Woven throughout the series will be themes of oneness, interconnection, and reciprocity. As in previous sessions, each gathering will include time for dialogue, group Q&A, dyad breakout conversations, and a guided experiential exercise led by the guest.

January 27 – Conversation with Teja Bell & Bob Noha, hosted by Christina Grote

In this first session of 2026, with more spacious timing than before, my guests will be master teachers Teja Bell and Bob Noha, long-time students of Robert Nadeau, 8th-dan Shihan, a direct student of Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido. ITP co-founder George Leonard, also a student of Robert Nadeau, brought his interpretation of this work into ITP through Leonard Energy Training, with its emphasis on direct, embodied experience and the body as teacher.

Together, we will explore why embodied experience is foundational for developing greater sensitivity and responsiveness, both within ourselves and in relationship with others. We’ll look at how grounding and awareness in the body can help bring what is often implicit or unconscious into clearer experience.

When we practice the ITP Kata, or other mind/body practices, are we simply going through the motions, or are we attuned to what is actually being felt and lived from within? Bob and Teja will guide us in distinguishing conceptual awareness from embodied presence, and in sensing the difference directly. This distinction lies at the heart of Presence in Motion, and is essential for anyone committed to integral and transformative practice.
