Why is Mastering the Art of Cooperation so powerful?

Mastering the Art of Cooperation is based on three main principles:

  • Each individual has the power to influence the outcome of cooperation by reaching inside and bringing the best version of self to the table.
  • Cooperation works best when we are receptive to and move with the collective flow of the group’s energy, or ki, a Japanese term for the flow of energy.
  • Personal performance is optimized when we use all intelligences residing in the whole person.

The training features concepts and exercises drawn from Integral Transformative Practice, the martial art of Aikido and Nonviolent Communication.

What you’ll gain

In the Mastering the Art of Cooperation training, you’ll dive deep into the core practices of the Ki of Cooperation - a transformative approach to collaboration in today’s world.

At the heart of the training is the concept of ki, explored through mindful body movements that activate the entire system. By using the body as a teacher you’ll increase your overall wellbeing as well as unlocking your connection to your innate intelligences. This means you’ll develop resilience to lean into challenging situations, confident that you have access to more of your potential. What you’ll learn will lengthen your fuse, making it possible for you to maintain calm under pressure and experience a greater sense of vitality.

Through these core practices, you’ll receive tools to open yourself up to new perspectives in a mindful way. You’ll learn to engage in deep listening, inquire to understand and explore opposing viewpoints without losing your own. You’ll also enhance your ability to speak in a clear and concise manner, an essential skill for successful cooperation. Together, these tools and practices will help expand your mindset and creative capacity to arrive at purposeful outcomes. How do we turn this into action?

To cooperate effectively with others, we first need to know ourselves. This training offers powerful techniques for self-reflection, allowing you to uncover what matters most to you and how your values drive your actions. Understanding your own strengths and motivations, you’ll become better at choosing the right approach for every situation, optimizing  your contribution and building stronger relationships. In short, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Gain Clarity - Filter out the noise to focus on what matters most
  • Expand Perspectives - Uncover best solutions for your unique situations
  • Enhance Wellbeing - Practice techniques to maintain calm under pressure.
  • Deepen Connections - Cultivate relationships built on mutual understanding
  • Embrace Creativity - Welcome new ideas to reach shared outcomes

Program structure

Our program design is built around three key elements: facilitated workshops, a supportive community, and a comprehensive guidebook. These are all integrated within our online platform, the Ki of Cooperation Community House.

Facilitated workshops

Mastering the Art of Cooperation is an interactive training program led by a team of experienced practitioners and facilitators. Each session is carefully crafted to create a safe, open environment for exploring, learning and sharing. Throughout the program you’ll be introduced to the core practices and guided through the techniques at a pace that adapts to each participant’s learning process.

The workshops cultivate a co-creative atmosphere where everyone is a student and everyone is a teacher, drawing from real life experiences to make the training practical and applicable. By the end of the training program, you will have designed a practice tailored to your personal needs and desires, empowering you to become a successful collaborator.

Community support

We believe that true transformation happens in community—change is much easier when you're not alone. Throughout the training, you’ll receive ongoing support from both the facilitators and your peers. Between sessions, you’ll be encouraged to apply what you’ve learned and share your experiences in our online “classroom,” where facilitators are also available to offer guidance and answer questions.

Comprehensive Guidebook

The Guidebook is a central container for all practices and resources covered during the training program. It provides clear and concise explanations for each practice, ensuring that you have everything you need to review and deepen your understanding of the exercises. The Guidebook allows you to revisit and refine your skills at any time.

Online platform for a worldwide audience

To make Mastering the Art of Cooperation available worldwide, the program is offered online via the Ki of Cooperation Community House. This private and secure platform can be accessed through your computer or smartphone.

The Community House has multiple spaces, or rooms, each dedicated to its specific purpose. Your training group will have its own private classroom, where you can log into Zoom sessions, share your stories and read your fellow participants’ reflections, and access the session recordings. You’ll also have access to the Community House Library where you can download the Guidebook and find other training materials.

The Guidebook, training materials, and workshops are offered in English. For non-native English speakers, language support is currently available in Spanish and the Scandinavian languages.

The facilitator team

The facilitator team is a group of individuals who are passionate about cooperation. We believe that progress and success comes from cooperation and unity, not from competition or divisiveness. Our mission is to help others unlock their potential by cultivating environments where cooperation is front and center, both with regards to personal interactions and in leveraging technology mindfully.

We are driven by a desire to serve and authentically bring to life cooperation in our everyday lives. We are constantly learning and growing through our own experiences, and strive to embody the values we teach. As facilitators we walk the path alongside members of our community, supporting their journey of creative collaboration and wellbeing.
