ITP Pathways to Practice

A 6-Week Immersive Journey of Integral Practice

ITP Pathways to Practice is a six-week experiential training introducing Integral Transformative Practice (ITP) while offering renewal and depth for experienced practitioners. Through embodied practice, reflection, and shared inquiry, participants explore how to live ITP as a daily, evolving practice that supports presence, growth, and meaningful participation in life.

Why This Program

Many of us feel called toward growth, yet struggle to translate inspiration into sustained, embodied practice. This series offers a grounded, experiential entry point, supporting clarity of vision, activation of intention, and integration across body, mind, heart, and soul.

Learning happens through direct experience, providing practical stepping stones for living with greater alignment, vitality, and awareness.

Program Format

  • Six weekly sessions, 2.5 hours each
  • Co-led by two ITP teachers
  • ITP Kata integrated throughout, including one full Kata-focused session
  • A balance of teaching, practice, reflection, and dialogue
  • Recordings and resources provided
  • Optional practice partners and community connection

Weekly Themes

  1. Stepping Stones to Realize Your Potential
    Foundations of ITP and centering practices to clarify where you are and where you are being called.
  2. Activating Your Intentions
    Working with intention and affirmation as embodied forces for meaningful change.
  3. Awakening the Body
    ITP Kata, Life Energy Practices (LET), and Integral Fitness as pathways to vitality and alignment.
  4. Deepening the Mind
    Exploring the integral worldview and how theory directly supports lived practice.
  5. Staying in the Current of Life
    Developing awareness of feeling states to support clearer decisions and deeper connection.
  6. Leading from Soul
    Leadership and service as expressions of soul, purpose, and participation.

Program Facilitators

Pam Kramer

Pam Kramer is President of ITP International, the non-profit organization that stewards ITP and the work of its founders, George Leonard and Michael Murphy. Pam is an ITP Mastery teacher, is on the faculty of Esalen Institute, and presents workshops at venues in the US and abroad. She is engaged in training ITP teachers, helping to form ITP groups, and bringing integral principles and practices to the workplace. Pam is a performance consultant and executive coach for organizations and entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Lucy Piper

Lucy Piper has practiced ITP since 2008 and leads the ITP groups in Tulsa. She developed her leadership skills by attending two cycles of Mastery in the Bay Area. Her appreciation of the depth in that program led her to be instrumental in bringing Mastery to the Heartland. Lucy is a life-long learner and is passionate about facilitating learning for herself and others. She has a BA in Philosophy and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction. Before retiring in 2013, she taught for thirty years, mostly in the elementary grades.

Charlotte Hatch

Charlotte Hatch, a dedicated practitioner of ITP, has been practicing ITP since its inception in 1991 when she was a member of George and Michael’s “experimental group.” She is an ITP Mastery teacher, founder of ITP San Francisco in 2006 and is a 5th-degree black belt in Aikido. Charlotte has been instrumental in the design and implementation of the Mastery, Integral Leadership and the Ki of Cooperation trainings and leads workshops in LET and ITP. Charlotte leads our Annual ITP Practice Challenge.

Roger Marsh

Roger Kenneth Marsh is committed to evolving humanity to a more peaceful, joyful, and love-based state. He has been practicing ITP since 2004 when he helped establish and lead ITP Walnut Creek in Northern California. Roger continued developing his leadership through all ITP Mastery programs since 2008, co-leading ITP Group Leader gatherings since 2012, and co-facilitating the Integral Leadership Mastery Program since 2018. Through his own company Beyond Belief, Roger is a leadership coach opening the hearts and minds of leaders around the world.

Kim Lee

Kim Lee, MAIR, PCC, unlocks your potential to lead, through action learning. She works with ITPI as a Mastery teacher. She is the founder of Labyrinth Leadership Group, a for-cause organization helping navigate leadership challenges. A leadership coach, Kim has 25 years of experience in leadership development.

Donita Decker

Donita Decker has been an ITP practitioner for over 20 years. As well as being an ITP teacher, Donita has assisted with ITP and LET workshops in the Bay Area and at Esalen Institute. She is the co-leader of the ITPI Evolving You membership program that brings together ITP members from around the globe to share learning and insights about the evolutionary journey. Donita founded and is co-leader of the ITP group in San Rafael, CA. She is a Blue Belt in Nia and has an MBA in Healthcare Administration.

Max Gaenslen

Max Gaenslen joined the ITPI management team in 2006 and co-designed and implemented the ITP Mastery program for its 10-year duration. An ITP Mastery teacher and trainer, Max has presented ITP and LET at many workshops, conferences and at Esalen Institute. Max is Coordinator of the Esalen Center for Theory and Research and a certified Hoffman trainer. He has shared his passion for growth and transformation in business, educational, and therapeutic settings. Max has been practicing ITP since 2004.

Ann Horn

Ann Horn is an integral practitioner with 25 years of experience and a deep commitment to fostering cooperation in complex environments. She has been an active member of ITP since 2011, founding ITP Sweden, a local practice group dedicated to integral practice. Since joining the Ki of Cooperation Weave Team in 2020, Ann has contributed as a program coordinator and facilitator, guiding training participants in their journey toward mastering the art of cooperation.

Barry Robbins

Barry Robbins is Vice President of ITP International. He co-founded Community ITP in Mill Valley, CA, and Palo Alto ITP. Barry is an ITP Mastery teacher and leads workshops at Esalen Institute and other venues in the US. He is a former nationally ranked athlete and heads up the ITPI initiative in the field of sports. He has also taken a lead role in climate change.
