The Big Vision, Part I

Spoken by Michael Murphy

In this talk Michael Murphy discusses the intellectual and cultural currents that have worked to push “metanarratives”—large scale visions or cosmologies—out of favor in contemporary academic and mainstream dialogue. Despite this, there are many thinkers in contemporary society that resonate with integral theory. Michael is joined by Kevin Maher for a discussion of how these various elements of society interact, and the ways in which ideas and narratives get disseminated into the culture.
